Everything running on your computer has at least a process running in the background. The more active, the higher computer resource usage. You can easily view and manage them in the Task Manager. It’s also possible to have them monitored to prevent computer issues with the help of ProcessGuard.
Perks of a portable app
First of all, the application saves you the time and effort otherwise required to go through the steps of an installer, so you can see what it’s all about as soon as download is done. This makes it a perfect tool to carry around and use on other computers, without affecting stability of the target system, because registry entries are not altered.
When launched, the application minimizes to the tray area, adding two new icons. One of them is a real-time updating CPU monitor, with percentage shown in a tooltip on mouseover. The other provides quick access to the Windows Task Manager, which comes in handy for immediately terminating, or inspecting troublesome processes.
Set process to monitor and action to take
However, the application might not appeal to everyone, especially since there’s no attached main window, and all options need to be handled through an INI configuration file. It is brought up in your default text editor along with the Task Manager. Luckily, it clearly explains what and how you need to write for everything to properly function.
Monitoring a process is the core function, and you specify which one through the process name and PID, which are easily grabbed from Task Manager. Additionally, you can set an alarm based on CPU usage, with options to set limit, time, message, action, whether to run a specific program, and confirmation requirement.
To end with
Bottom line is that poor management of processes can lead to disappointing computer performance. As such, ProcessGuardhelps you keep an eye on those processes relying on a heavy amount of system resources, and is able to alert you and take action when a specific limit is reached.

Privacy does not belong to just the rich and privileged. It is everyone’s right. There are a few apps that try to monitor, and report us on our browsing habits and our online activities. Some of them are there as a service or as a research tool, but they’re most of the time sold to advertisers to track our behavior and send us targeted ads. Fortunately, there are a few alternatives which are focused on privacy and providing us with a more comfortable browsing experience.
Choqok: This is a multifunctional app used to connect to other social networks. It has a number of social network clients, such as Facebook, Flickr, Weibo, Twitter, and others. Although it is not a full-fledged browser, it can be used in its own right. It allows the user to easily share photos and post messages.
Firefox Focus: This is another alternative browser focused on privacy. It has a similar interface as the Choqok, but it has fewer browser tabs. You can open links from websites to other apps, play a video, and use the browser for browsing.
uBlock Origin: This is a free and open-source adblocker that you can install on your browser to help you block all kinds of unwanted ads and other privacy-related trackers. It may also help speed up your browsing experience.
Brave: Brave is a free, open-source adblocker browser that blocks trackers and other unwanted content. It is also known as an anti-surveillance browser that focuses on privacy. It introduces an interesting concept known as the safety-first mode, which allows you to browse without all of the tracking and protection that other browsers provide. Brave also has a built-in cryptocurrency-wallet service that allows you to earn cryptocurrency that you can use to buy ads or browse the Internet anonymously.

Autodesk 3D Design 2010 has been out for a while now, but it doesn’t mean that most people have given it a look. Nowadays, Autodesk 3D Design 2010 is a single software package, which can be used to design as well as print 3D models.
I am not a big fan of Autodesk 3D Design 2010, I always have a huge feeling that it’s not a single software that can be used to design as well as print 3D models, but I am always let down to be wrong when I tried to find a single software that can do so. After reading many of the reviews on the internet, some people are comparing Autodesk 3D Design 2010 with 3DS Max.
I can’t stand 3DS Max. It is bloated, and the interface is horribly messy.
The best thing about Autodesk 3D Design 2010 is that they can give something back to the users who really love it. With the new improved interface, Autodesk 3D Design 2010 is now able to run on Windows 2000 and XP as well.
Autodesk 3D Design 2010 is a great software, but I don’t think it is the best software for designing 3D models. So, the next most important thing that is needed in order to build a great 3D model is a high quality 3D modeling software.
For the purpose of this article, I will only write about 3D Modeling software for Windows OS. If you are interested, here is a list of software that you can use to build a 3D model in Windows:
Raster 3D Studio is the most powerful 3D modeling software in the entire world. With its capability of building complex 3D models, this software provides 3D modeling tools like polygon modeling tools, flow programming tools, animation tools, object maintenance tools and much more.
Open CAD Modeling System is the powerful, affordable and free software application for two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) product design. It is featured with a complete set of powerful 3D modeling tools, advanced materials handling tools, high-quality rendering and previewing, a powerful but easy-to-use 2D drawing system and much more.
